Letting Ana Go - Beatrice Sparks (as Anonymous)

Here is the Goodreads summary:

She was a good girl from a good family, with everything she could want or need. But below the surface, she felt like she could never be good enough. Like she could never live up to the expectations that surrounded her. Like she couldn't do anything to make a change.

But there was one thing she could control completely: how much she ate. The less she ate, the better—stronger—she felt.

But it’s a dangerous game, and there is such a thing as going too far…

Her innermost thoughts and feelings are chronicled in the diary she left behind.

Here is my opinion:
Wow... The warning in this book is tangible and if feels like it is actually a girls diary. I read the entire thing in a day in a half. I read all the way through my German class in fact. The main character is a really likable but that she isn't perfect just adds to the plot line. And the weights are believable too. She starts at a healthy 133 pounds and she becomes in the death zone at 110. That's believable when you consider that she is actually mostly muscle because she is a cross country runner. All in all I liked this book quite a lot.

Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?

Here is my opinion:
I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Gack! The book is so great. I read it and at the beginning you are just like "NOOOO!!!! My OTP is dying and at the end you are like "NO! My OTP is dying" but in between the otp is great. The character development is so great. At the beginning she is fighting with everything and she is gutsy but by the middle she becomes scared because of everything that has happened to her and I'm just like rawr!

Here is the Goodreads summary:

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

Here is my opinion:
I am screaming at the freaking ending but the book is so good! Dawson is back and now they have to go get Bethany and they are pretty much attempting the impossible. It's so enthralling and intense. Not just because they are now fighting the government though. Daemon is pretty much the most romantic guy ever when he wants to be and in some parts he really wants to be. The twists in the book are totally unexpected in how they happen even though you know they are going to happen at some point, except for the very last one.
